Tymelord's Website: Aron "The Doctor" Toman's website with fan fiction (including the original Astra stories), fan artwork and reviews.
Faeryhime: The website of Jennifer "Destina" Alyx with her online voice acting resume and a few productions of her own.
The Spencer Show: Official website of the talented singer and songwriter who plays Jayden.
Doctor Who Audio Adventures - Fan Made
DAM Audios: A relatively new group to the fan audio scene, but really starting to hit their stride. The perfect place for Doctor Who with more than a touch of comic flair.
Floorten.com: The Granddaddy of all online audio production groups. Despite only having three plays available, they do host the biggest forum for online discussion of audio plays. They're also the ones who've inspired many others to take up the mantle of audio production. Blame them.
Darker Projects: Not much of content as of yet, but this lots promises a fair bit, not only Doctor Who plays, but Quantum Leap as well.
Staggering Stories: Not strictly Doctor Who, but they still occur within the Doctor Who universe. Witness the adventures of Macfadyan, the Time Lord of the house of Lungbarrow loomed just before the Doctor was. He who also travels around the universe, going by the name of the Buccaneer...
Once In A Blue Moon: Still another unstarted audio group, but this site is perfect for articles on various aspects of audio production, from scripting the thing to the mechanics of putting it together. And then there's the News page for all the audio groups above. A not-to-be-missed site!
BTR Productions: An Australian-based group. Worth a glance, if only for reference material for our crossover with them...
Doctor Who Audio Adventures - Professional BBC Online: For once, the BBC have followed in the footsteps of fandom and decided to release online audio adventures, starting with the five episode epic Death Comes To Time, and following it up with Real Time, Shada and the new Ninth Doctor adventure The Scream Of The Shalka. I must say, though, we're better because we let you keep ours...
Big Finish: May as well give these guys a reference - Big Finish are the ones who most of us try to be like. They're the "official" audio producers, having actually gotten the license from the BBC and create audio plays using the (real) last four Doctors. Worth a look.
BBV: And here's the major competitor to Big Finish - more professional audio plays, but the difference is BBV don't have the official license so instead produce spin-offs, currently featuring those thorns in the side of time travellers everywhere, Faction Paradox...
Magic Bullet: Yet another professional group doing their professional thing - currently producing episodes set in Kaldor City, and soon to take over the Faction Paradox franchise.
Doctor Who Websites Outpost Gallifrey: What I'd call the official unofficial website. There's everything you could probably need here - reviews, news, timelines, canon-guides, forums, and if it isn't on the site itself, have a look beyond to the Web Guide. Definitely a must-see site!
Stripping Down: Need to catch up on the last time Frobisher traveled with the Doctor? Go no further than here, with detailed analyses of nearly every Doctor Who comic strip written.
The Doctor Who Wav Archive: This was a big help to me in the early days of crossovering, before I learnt how to make sounds myself. It's amazing what you'll find on here...
Doctor Who's Tragical History Tour: Great site for images - there's a new archive theme every month.
The Disc-Continuity Guide: A brilliant parody of the non-fiction book The Discontinuity Guide, only detailing the Big Finish plays. Definitely worth a read.
The Doctor Who Ratings Guide: Best place for online reviews of anything who related (and we do mean anything). Still no sight of Crossover reviews yet, but we're working on it.
Tachyon TV: Lots of satire and silliness here, so much that I can't describe it enough, go see for yourself. A new batch of insanity every month!
The Laughing Psycho's Web O' Death: Some great 3D pics here - some we've even, erm, borrowed in assistance with our own artwork.
The Renegade Timelord: Great fan fiction site, with not only Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Xena: Warrior Princess fiction, but his own series of stories called Serena...
The Whoniverse: Quite an extensive guide to, well, the Whoniverse and all things Doctor Who. Very detailed, hours of interesting reading. |
