It's 1859 all over again, and you are cordially invited to the
launch of London's Great Bell (that will soon come to be known as Big
Ben) as Crossover Adventure Productions proudly presents our
latest exciting adventure Race
Against Chime, which is available for download now!Starring Aron Toman as the Doctor with Kara Dennison as the Computer, Race Against Chime takes the TARDIS to Victorian London to see the first chimes of Big Ben - but mysterious happenings seem to surround this historic event. Why is the bell's designer acting so strangely, and why his obsession that the bell chime at midnight exactly? And who is the peculiar gypsy woman who foretells the end of the world if the bell rings? Can the Doctor sort out the mystery before the bell rings, bringing the death knell to everything? Race Against Chime features a mostly new cast to Crossover Adventure Productions. Playing Sir Benjamin "Big Ben" Hall, the MP overseeing the bell's installation is Kev Parr, bringing gravitas to this Victorian-era politician. Daniel Hansen is making his audio drama debut as Edmund Denison, designer of the Great Bell - or is he more than that? Wendy Robinson plays Esmeralda, the mysterious blind gypsy woman with a warning for the future and Matt Arthur, who previously appeared in last Christmas's Yes, Santa, There Is A Davros, appears as George Mears, Master of the Whitechapel Bell Foundry (where Big Ben was forged). This exciting episode is available to download now as a high quality MP3 in the Trip Of A Lifetime section of the site. Or why not subscribe to the whole series via the iTunes?
